Spitzer provided engineering, fabrication, and assembly services for a modular natural gas compressor station in Midland, Texas. The completed station boosts low-pressure natural gas to higher pressures, supporting efficient pipeline transportation to downstream processing facilities and cryogenic plants.
The project included multiple integrated process skids, ASME-coded vessels, process piping, instrumentation, and station support infrastructure—all coordinated through Spitzer’s in-house engineering, drafting, fabrication, and project management teams.
Accelerating Complex Compressor Station Execution
Compressor station projects are often driven by aggressive production and transmission deadlines. Spitzer applied its proven station designs, repeatable fabrication processes, and modular construction methods to help reduce engineering lead times and maintain schedule momentum throughout the project.
Engineering, drafting, procurement, and fabrication activities progressed in parallel, allowing the team to coordinate multiple integrated systems while responding to customer revisions and changing project requirements. Early material procurement and close communication across project teams further supported reliable execution from initial engineering through final assembly.
