JOB SUMMARY:
The primary duties are to assist in the following duties
- Operate plasma table
- Reading shop drawings and laying out dimensions on steel
- Cutting structural steel with bandsaw
- Operating an ironworker punching holes and shearing steel
- Operating a magnetic drill and drill press.
- Operating a forklift
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Follow all safety rules
- Be a team player
- The ability to work outside and in a non-air-conditioned shop
- The ability to read a tape measure
- The ability to perform simple calculations
- The ability to layout dimensions on steel
- Lift and move heavy objects, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds
- Operate a forklift
- Operate industrial machinery in a safe manner (bandsaw, ironworker, and drill)
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be self-motivated
