JOB SUMMARY
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving customer success and business growth. This dynamic position is focused on nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a results-driven mindset. You will manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, deliver tailored solutions, and serve as a key liaison between clients and internal departments. By collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, you’ll ensure seamless execution and a best-in-class customer experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Manages the full sales cycle and serves as the primary point of contact for account-related matters
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to drive retention and growth.
- Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email, and virtual meetings to generate new business.
- Understand customer needs, offer solutions to meet them, and effectively communicate these needs to fulfillment teams (i.e. production, logistics, purchasing, outside processing, etc.)
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders
- Monitors market trends and demand to identify pricing strategies and sales opportunities
MINIMUM JOB REQUIRMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inside sales, account management, or a related role, preferably within the steel industry or construction materials sector.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and CRM tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
