We are looking for a HR and Accounting Generalist to support our growing business. This HR role will grow over time, helping with other accounting processes until then.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Payroll processing and data collection for HR reporting.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Assist in administering employee benefits and resolving related issues, including recording and reconciling within the general ledger.
- Assist with planning and executing HR events.
- Assist in managing employee relations and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- General support of the accounting department including recording, reconciling and reporting all payroll related entries and other accounting processes as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources and administrative support roles.
- Strong understanding of employment labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience working with accounting systems and general knowledge of accounting processes.
