JOB SUMMARY:
Established company is seeking qualified Class A CDL flatbed driver to fill an immediate opening.
Duties consist of hauling construction materials from our yard in Hutto to our customers across the state of Texas. Most loads are on 48’ flatbed trailers. Some loads can be as long as 60’ as we have a fleet of extendable trailers. In addition, there are times where we deliver over height/width permit loads. Drivers are not expected to unload; however, they are expected to assist in ensuring their truck is unloaded in a safe manner. Flatbed drivers are also responsible for picking up and securing construction materials from our vendors on occasion.
Flatbed drivers will be responsible for adhering to all applicable DOT regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 23 years old with at least 2 years class A driving experience with clean driving record.
Must have current medical card.
Must be able to drive manual transmission.
Must be able to read and write in English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, and lift 75 pounds.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
This position is a full-time hourly position, with overtime being paid after 40 hours. Pay based on experience and will be discussed on an individual basis. Generally, 40-50 hours per week based on workload and weather.
